Alvin M Hayes

Alvin M Hayes, the creator of the "whileBlack Chronicles Series", appeared on YouTube’s “So Tell Me About Your Book” series, is a featured speaker in  Miami-Dade Library’s Local Author Series programs, and a contributor to the African American Literary Book Club (AALBC). 

He is passionate about re-living history through compelling stories depicting African American experiences, sophistication, and accomplishments, regardless of era. 

The African Proverb “Until The Lion Tells The Story The Hunter Will Always Be The Hero,” inspires his writing style.

The Tennessee State University graduate is a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and an active member of the South Florida Writers Association (SFWA) 

Alvin, a native of Hartford, CT, lives in South Florida. 

When not working on his craft, he enjoys golf, car trips with his girlfriend, a pescatarian life style, listening to jazz, watching great athletes perform, and caring for Fred, the Clownfish in his small saltwater aquarium, a thankless task.
